Emanate

This design is brought to you courtesy of my hoop.

I’ve been enjoying going out every morning to hoop in the park near our place. It’s very peaceful, even though many of the khaki-pantsed Navy Yard people stare at me as they go by, wondering what indeed I am doing.

I like this picture. I’m part tree!

After a hoop-out, I step out of my hoop I feel like I’m emanating all kinds of positive stuff. Having a schedule of play seems to feed my creativity. My art has also become more bright and impactful, too, I think. I’m happier, operating more from a place of ease rather than a HOLYcrapWhattheHELLAMIDOING mindset.

I like this video ~ John Cleese on Creativity. He says a lot of groovy things about play and sense of humor and how all the problems in the world could really be figured out much faster if a sense of humor and playfulness was applied. I agree. People are too damn serious when they get older. I mean, chill the eff out, man.

Especially here in power-hungry DC. I’ve walked down the windy roads around Capitol Hill and much of what I hear is douchey serious self-important nonsense junk. I just want to shake them and tell them all a poop joke. Then tell them to do the right thing and help people, dammit.

If do do this one day I will make sure to report back my findings. (haha i said doooo dooooooooo)
