Hot dang, it’s September. But I can’t stop thinking of bright places and flowers. I must need a vay-cay.

I started doodling this one on my iPad on a sorta sad, worrisome day. My kitty, Foo, was getting treacherous mouth surgery to remove nearly all her teeth. There’s always complications when you go “under” and especially with small animals.

She’s OK now ~ still paws her mouth a bit, but then again she’s getting used to her “new mouth”.

So many times I find myself wander-lusting as a way to make stuff. Like, I make the stuff to escape. Having a shite day? Go play with some colors and don’t think about it too much. You’ll feel tons better.

You don’t even need an iPad. (Bwa! Eeeemagine that!) Crayons and cardboard suffices.

I do love the pleasure that color brings. The teals hitting the whitey-pinks, the corals slapping you right in the retina, bringing you deserved frivolity, making you feel life is just sooo worth living. (Haha, I sound var var dramatico. I’ve been watching The Buccaneers on Netflix.)

MY POINT IS that color can heal, energize, tickle you in your brain parts. And that’s part of why I love making stuff. I can create my own little garden of delights.

I hope you like this one! What colors are you drawn to lately? Let me know below and make sure to download it if you want your brain area tickled on a daily basis.
