Lush // A 2013 Desire and A Process

I want to share with you what I’ve been working on this week. Well, the past few weeks if I count all the writing in my journal and thinking in the shower.

It’s a BIG overaching feeling I’d like to experience this year. Feeling “LUSH”.

Lush has two definitions: v. “growing luxuriantly” and n. “a heavy drinker”

Haha. Actually, both meanings can apply to me, onnnnly I’m twisting the noun definition to be a bit more positive. “An indulgent person ~ in play, pampering, experiences, and connectedness.” I CAN MAKE UP MY OWN DEFINITIONS. I AM AN ARTIST. Yeah! I’m a reeaaaal lush.

“Lush” encompasses feelings of abundance, growth, indulgence, productivity, reaching outward and upward, being electric and inspirational. Being exxxtra.

The snake? 2013 is the Year of the Water Snake in the Chinese world! Well, not until Feb 10, but I’m needing some water snake energy right now. Water snakes are charming, love beauty, and have the power to persuade. They are also all about commitment ~ in relationships, work, beliefs, etc. They are also very slinky.

I made this design so I can have the word right in front of me every day, reminding me what my desired feeling is. Sometimes we forget, no? Perhaps you’d like to feel lush too. You can get a print in my shop, or else just download a wallpaper below.
