LEAFY ABUNDANCE Green Banana Leaf Print

When we first moved to California our apartment walls were bare. So I went to the hardware store and bought bright green gaffer tape and made a banana tree on the wall to make the space feel alive. I was so impressed by all the big banana trees living here in the Bay Area that I wanted to bring that into our space immediately. This print reminds me of those first days – I never want to lose that sense of awe of my surroundings. When I was painting these big green leaves I really needed to feel some abundance in my life. I always look to nature to feel that way.
