The site tracks AND influences color trends, as well as providing a lot of pattern resource/inspiration. When I’m not quite sure what kind of palette to use for a project, I go here to get inspired. It also hosts a large community of designers.
Since I got my laptop I’ve been furiously searching for the right bag. Seems there’s not much out there except solid colors. I found this one on Etsy.com. The print is called “Inked” and it’s from Alexander Henry Fabrics. Sooooo lovely and sassy – my style :) (see to below for detail) I can’t wait to get it… just 15 more days!!
Yay to lapper!!! This is my brand new Dell XPS 1530 in gorgey PINK. What?! A graphic designer NOT on a Mac?! You betcha… it gets things did.

I’ve found a new quick recipe for a healthy, delicious lunch. Baked potato with cheese, broccoli, and malt vinegar! The vinegar adds a zing and makes the potato moist. It’s better than piling on some butter. :)
I went to the doctor today. I’ve been having this issue with my right arm and hand that hasn’t gone away, so I figured it was time to get it checked. My right hand’s pinky and ring finger were going numb when I’d sit at the computer too long and my back was uber-sore.
Well, turns out it’s two issues – 4 large knots in my back AND a nerve entrapment in my elbow. The doc gave me some Lidocaine shots directly into the knots that should ease up the tension and break them up.
Oh, the ailments of being a Graphic Designer…
