By purchasing, the terms here become an agreement between you (the “Client”) and Barbra Ignatiev (the “Artist”) in reference to the paintings (“Artwork”) created for you.
A final sign-off on these terms may be required after purchase.
You are invited to print this page for your records.
- Only one pet per painting.
- All purchases are final. Taxes and other fees may be due.
- If more portraits are desired during a session the Artist may be able to accommodate; however rates may have changed.
- You give the Artist the right to use your photo(s) for derivative use, as basis for her Artwork(s).
- All copyrights to the derivative Artwork (the paintings) remain with Barbra Ignatiev.
- The Artwork (painting of your pet) may be used for commercial or promotional use – such as being featured in a future print or promoted on social media.
- The Artist will make best efforts to ensure Client’s satisfaction; however note that changes are limited due to the nature of watercolor.
- The Artist’s style will be applied to the Artwork as depicted in several visual examples to give the Client some idea of what to expect. Space to play and experiment is needed for both parties to be satisfied in this agreement. Patience and understanding are appreciated.
- All attempts to meet a time-sensitive deadline will be made but note that due to the nature of custom work there are no guarantees.
- The Artist gives the Client permission to share the artwork on social media once finalized. Please credit and tag her on Instagram: @abarbarianheart
- Personal use of the artwork is approved but commercial use is not permitted. If interested in commercial use please reach out for additional licensing options. custom@barbraignatiev.com
