A whole lotta otta. Atta, otta!

Here in Santa Cruz we get to see sea otters almost every day. At the size of a small human child, they are the smallest ocean mammal.

They’re very active — always needing to eat or groom their very thick fur.

And gosh aren’t they cute and brutal — ripping legs off crabs and cracking them open with their special rock that the keep stowed under their arm. Such interesting animals!
